c-sig software package provides signature tool for GNU Emacs, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install c-sig
c-sig is installed in your system.
Make ensure the c-sig package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep c-sig *
You will get with c-sig package name, version, architecture and description in a table
